Florence Little Theater
When the celebrated musical “Les Miserables” opened at Florence Little Theatre September 2013, it was being performed for the first time by a community theater group in South Carolina.
It possibly was the first time FLT had a show’s run sell out in advance, and there were disappointed people who were unable to get tickets for any of the nine performances. The fact that the rights had been granted to the theater indicated the reputation FLT has earned over nearly a century. Everybody wanted the show, and this theater was the first S.C. community theater to perform it.
Francis Marion Performing Arts Center
The Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center plays a vital role in the university’s efforts to provide excellent education, stimulate inquiry and research, and serve the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. It is a multi-purpose facility that enriches the lives of students, faculty, and members of the community.

Florence Center Concerts and Events
The largest convention, entertainment & exhibition facility in northeast South Carolina with over 75,000 square feet of multipurpose space. This includes the 10,000-seat Arena, the 14,500 square foot Ballroom, a Jr. Ballroom, 9 meeting rooms and oversized pre-function area.
City Center Farmers Market
The City Center Farmers’ Market is a YEAR-ROUND market featuring Carolina-grown and Carolina-made products. Customers can find breakfasts and lunches cooked on-site using market-available ingredients; dairy products, meats, cheeses, eggs, organic and local vegetables and fruits, fresh pastas and sauces, sweets, baked goods, honey, wood and paper crafts, body products, and other treasures.
